About University: Sardar Patel University was established by an Act of the Legislative Assembly of the then Bombay Province in December 1955 and was recognised under 2f of the UGC Act in October 1968. The university has completed 56 golden years of a fruitful existence that has brought it to the forefront in terms of its academic excellence. No wonder, then, efforts have been made either to emulate its example or to replicate it elsewhere in Gujarat. Sardar Patel University comprises of 26 Postgraduate Departments, a constituent college, and 87 colleges affiliated to it. There are 31 PG courses available in the affiliated colleges/institutions.

Qualifications:
1) Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55 % marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's level of the concerned subject.
2) Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject or in a relevant interdisciplinary subject or NET/SLET/GATE qualified candidates.
3) For Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology position, candidate should have a background in molecular biology comparative genomic or Bioinformatics and knowledge in programming languages (Such as Python, Java, Perl etc).
Job Location: Anand
Salary: Fixed Emoluments of Rs. 30,000/- per month
