Assent of the President of India to the Rabindra Bharati Act passed by the Legislature of West Bengal, was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extra Ordinary, of the 10th January, 1962. The poet Rabindranath Tagore was the first Indian as well as the first Asian recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature.

grade of B+ in 10- point scale of UGC. Or
An equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI. 3. Valid Registration with RCI, u/s 19 of RCI Act, 1992 is essential.
Desirable Qualification:
1. M.Phil/Ph.D in Special Education or Education with research emphasis on Special Education.
2. Experience for a period of at least 2 years as teacher or researcher in the area of specific disability.

Age Limit: Not more than 55 years as on 01/01/2019. However, relaxation in upper age limit may be
considered in case of exceptionally qualified candidates.
