About Institution: Mary Matha college, started in 1994 as Jayaraj Chelladurai College, is owned and managed by CMI Fathers under Bodhi Niketan Trust from April 2009 and this is the 11th year under the CMI Management. CMI stands for Carmelites of Mary Immaculate, the first catholic indigenous religious congregation for men, started in 1831 by 3 men of God – Fr. Thomas Porookara, Fr.
