About Institution: The Centre for Brain Research was established as an autonomous, non-profit research organization in the Indian Institute of Science under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act of 1960, with the generous gift from Mr. Kris Gopalakrishnan (co-founder of Infosys Limited) and Mrs. Sudha Gopalakrishnan. CBR is funded by philanthropy and receives research grants for specific projects from several granting agencies.

DEPUTY DIRECTOR
The Deputy Director, an outstanding physician/scientist is expected to assist the Director of the centre in day-to-day operation in addition to contributing to the research. Expertise in clinical, genetic, and/or epidemiological research related to aging and neurodegenerative disorders would be desirable.
FACULTY
Appointments will be at a level equivalent to Assistant Professor or above that will be commensurate with experience and research accomplishments. Candidates with experience in genetics, molecular, cellular and cognitive neuroscience are encouraged to apply.
