About Institution: A munificent donation of Five hundred thousand rupees made to the Shri Vallabhacharya Vidya Sabha, Madras by the philanthropic Dwaraka Doss brothers, the late Shri Jumna Doss and the late Shri Amichand Doss enabled it to found the Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College, Madras in June 1964. The phenomenal growth of this institution prompted the Sabha to think loudly of expanding its service to education at different levels.
