The Registrar shall be a whole-time salaried officer of the deemed university, She/He will be responsible for all the non-academic functions of the institution and report to the Vice-Chancellar for the proper discharge of hisfunction.
The candidate must be a Masters degree holder with at least 5% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale in any discipline froma recognized University/Institute.
At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professorin the AGP Academic Grade Pay) of
Rs.7000/-and above or with eight years of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000/- and above
including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration.
OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/ or other institutions of higher education.OR 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post
The normaitenure of the Registrar is five years, subject to retirement age being 62 years.
