Qualifications:

Title of the project: "Demonstration of established bio-restoration technology for ecological restoration of degraded mangrove ecosystem in Indian Sunderbans through site-specific approach across differential degradation gradients" for a period of 5 years based on performance evaluation
after every 6 months.
Essential qualifications: As per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-0812018 dated 30.01.2019, the candidate should have M.Sc. in Botany/Biochemistry/Microbiology with qualification in NET examination conducted by CSIR-UGC/ICAR/DBT or any National Agencies or
GATE.
Desirable: Experience in plant ecology, plant physiology, biochemistry, plant molecular
biology or microbiology project work. Should be ready for extensive travel between Sundarbans and West Bengal State University frequently (almost every week) for conducting extensive field work as well as rigorous laboratory based experiments.
Upper Age limit: 28 yrs.

Salary Package:
Junior Research Fellow:Rs. 31000/- per month +24% HRA
Senior Research Fellow:Rs.35000/- per month+24% HRA for next 3 yrs
