Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar is one of the eight new IITs set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, to expand the reach and enhance the quality of technical education in the country. This institute is committed to providing state-of-the-art technical education in a variety of fields and also for facilitating transmission of knowledge in keeping with latest developments in pedagogy. Institute also offers M.S(R) programme in the following disciplines : Computer Science and Engineering amd Electrical Engineering. - Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Qualifications / Experience: M.E./M.Tech in CSE/ECE/IT with 65% Aggregate (7 CGPA) or B.E/B.Tech in CSE/ECE/IT with 65% Aggregate (7 CGPA) with valid GATE score. MCA/MSc in Comp Sc will be considered as equivalent to BTech. SC/ST candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate score (6.0 CGPA) in the qualifying degree.
Job Location: Ropar - Punjab
Emoluments: 31,000/- PM + HRA admissible as per institute norms.
