th IIM set up by the Ministry of Human Resources Development with the support of the Government of Punjab. The
institute has graduated three batches of MBAs with 100% placement with increasing compensation package year after year. The Institute is looking for faculty members with a strong passion to institution building offering a world class education consistent with the tradition of IIMs.
The permanent campus is to be built on a 61-acre land and the campus masterplan is under approval process. The Hon’ble Minister of HRD Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ performed the ground-breaking Bhoomi Pujan ceremony on October 7, 2019 and the construction of the permanent campus is expected to commence shortly and should be ready to house the incoming batch of 2021. Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification (for all faculty positions):
PhD degree or equivalent, with a first class or equivalent (high second class for reserved category) in the preceding degree in an appropriate discipline, with a very good academic record throughout.
• Successful track record of teaching; training; research; and, publications in
reputed international peer-reviewed journals.
Minimum Experience for Professor
• A minimum post-qualification experience of ten years in teaching/industry/research, of which, at least four years of experience at the level of Associate Professor in institutions of high repute such as IIMs, IITs, IISc Bangalore, NITIE Mumbai, IISERs or at an equivalent level in such other globally recognized Indian or foreign institutions of comparable standards as may be decided by IIM Amritsar. The candidate must have excellent research record to warrant appointment as Full Professor.
Minimum Experience for Assistant Professor Grade – I
A minimum post-qualification experience of three years in teaching/industry/research in institutions of high repute such as IIMs, IITs, IISc Bangalore, NITIE Mumbai,IISERs or at an equivalent level in such other globally recognized Indian or foreign
institutions of comparable standards as may be decided by IIM Amritsar. Thecandidate for appointment for the rank of Assistant Professor must have research record commensurate with the rank.
