About Institution:
The Government of Gujarat had established the Gujarat Agricultural University in the state vide Gujarat Act, No. 13 of 1969. The Government of Gujarat repealed Gujarat Agricultural University Act, 1969 and promulgated GAUs Act, No. 5 of 2004. Accordingly, Four State Agricultural Universities have been carved out from erstwhile GAU, S. D. Agricultural University being one of them.
The jurisdiction of S. D. Agricultural University is Seven Districts of North Gujarat region viz., Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Mehsana, Patan, Gandhinagar, Kachchh and Aravalli. SDAU is established for the better development of Agriculture and allied sectors in the North Gujarat Agro-climatic Zone. The SDAU is aimed to serve the agricultural interest for the economic development of the farming community of North Gujarat region. S. D. Agricultural University has 8 colleges, 28 Research Stations and 3 KVKs in the jurisdiction.

How to Apply:
The candidates with M. V. Sc. (Veterinary Public Health/ Livestock Products Technology) degree are
hereby invited for the posts of Guest Lecturer in Veterinary Public Health/ Livestock Products
Technology at College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry for 11 months. The walk in
interview will be arranged on date: 05/05/2020 at 10.00 A.M. in the office of College of Veterinary
Science and Animal Husbandry, SDAU, Sardarkrushinagar. The candidates appearing for interview
should be M.V.Sc. (Veterinary Public Health/ Livestock Products Technology) with first class
Terms and conditions:
1. The post is purely temporary (11 months) and will be automatically terminated after 11 months.
2. SDAU is not accountable to provide regular employment after completion of the academic
year/semester.
3. In addition to teaching work the selected candidate will also be responsible for work related to
examination and result submission of the course offered. Further, the appointed guest lecturer will
also be responsible to develop the overall student academic performance related to courses offered.
No extra remuneration will be provided for such academic work.
4. Eligible candidates may directly attend the interview on the date and time specified above at his/her own cost along with duly filled application and relevant documents.

6. The remuneration and duration of the said post will be Rs. 25000/- fix on monthly basis for 11
