Architectural Assistantship
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in Architectural Assistantship with first class or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute. If a candidate has a Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology, First class or equivalent is required at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge of Software package in relevant discipline as supported by a certificate of minimum three months duration or one semester as indicated in the study scheme of the essential qualification prescribed for the particular discipline.
Age Limit:
Not exceeding 35 years on normal closing date. Not exceeding 40 years for Scheduled Tribes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. For age concession applicable to some other categories of applicants, please see relevant paras of the ‘Instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection.

Duties: Teaching Diploma and Post-Diploma Courses, Design and developing of laboratory instruction, student assessment and evaluation, innovation in instruction, developing resource materials and assisting in curriculum development, R & D work on industrial problems and projects and assisting in extension services to the community, continuing education activities, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, student counselling, Assisting in departmental administration.

Probation Period: 1 year
Salary Package: PB of Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with AGP of 5400/- for persons with B.E. / B.Tech. qualification. PB of Rs. 15600-39100/- with AGP of Rs. 6000/- for persons with M.Tech qualification in appropriate branch/discipline.
