About College: Mukund Education Society was established in December 1984 at Risod, a small town of Maharashtra, under visionary leadership of Mr. Mohanlalji Jain, Mrs. Sushila Walchale and Adv. Vaishali Walchale Jain. The intention was to deliver social service through various initiatives like literacy programs, self employment projects, health care programs and a wide range of education initiatives from essential schooling up to higher education including technical, paramedical and professional courses. It was kept in mind due to serve people of this socioeconomically backward region of Maharashtra, the services has to be made available at the lowest cost.
