Job Profile: The Writing Studio has the goal to cultivate a comprehensive writing culture, cutting across different disciplines. We have a varied cohort of undergraduates in engineering and science and masters and doctoral students in both areas as well as humanities and social sciences. In this diverse student community, there is a section that lacks fluency in written and spoken English. There is also a dearth of substantial reading habit and writing practice, among many of them. To address these issues and make sure that these students are provided with resources which help them succeed in academic life, we have set up the Writing Studio.
