About College: The Directorate of Higher Education was established in the year 1996. On establishing it, the College Cell existing in the Directorate of Education was transferred under the Directorate of Higher Education. The Directorate of Higher Education is looking after the administrative matters, disbursement of salary and non-salary grants relating to six Government Colleges, twenty Non-Government Aided Colleges and the Goa University.

The last date to apply for the above posts is 17/08/2018 till 5.00 p.m.
After submission of the on-line application, an e-mail containing the filled details will be sent to the registered e-mail id of the candidate. A printout of this e-mail along with self attested Xerox copies of the mark sheets, experience certificates and caste certificate, if any, must be submitted to the office of the Directorate of Higher Education on or before 20/08/2018 (between 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. only). Only these applications will be considered in preparing list of eligible candidates.

Qualifications: The educational qualifications for the posts of Assistant Professor are as prescribed by the UGC Regulations No.F-3-1/2009 dated 30th June, 2010 and Recruitment Rules approved by the Government of Goa and notified in Official GaGette Series I No. 20 dated 18/08/2011. Remuneration to selected candidates shall be as fixed by the Government.
