Qualifications:
Applicants must have a PhD in a relevant discipline at the time of application, and specific training in both the biomechanics and neuroscience of human movement. We seek a colleague who will integrate these two areas to develop a translational research program that blends basic scientific inquiry with applications that seek to enhance human health, function and performance. We are especially interested in applicants whose expertise and interests would complement existing areas of faculty strength and enable them to bridge traditional disciplinary boundaries in both research and teaching.
Note: All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadian citizens and permanent residents will be given priority.

Duties and Requirements:
Applicants must demonstrate evidence of excellence in research and teaching, and have a commitment to service. Requirements include a strong record of peer-reviewed publications, and the ability to establish and maintain an independent research program that is externally-funded from a variety of sources. Postdoctoral training is advantageous, as is evidence of pedagogical innovation or a commitment to development as an educator. The potential to mentor trainees specifically in the area of biomechanics, expertise in statistics, and experience teaching large classes, will be deemed assets. Duties will include teaching and research supervision at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and service to the institution.
