The school was formally inaugurated on 1st April 2014(Tuesday) for academic session 2014-15 by Shri SanjivSingh ,who is currently the Chairman of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd , on the occasion of Utkal Divas. The School management is headed by Mr V. K. Shunglu, who is the Chairman of DPSS.
