About College: Way back to 1980, the idea of spreading Higher Education among women masses was conceived by one of the luminaries of the city Sri Ashirbad Behera, the present President of the Governing Body of the College. With his initiative the college was started with Intermediate courses which was subsequently upgraded to degree courses.Since then the college has gained its name and fame and as a fully aided degree college it has been imparting undergraduate course in Arts Stream with Honours facilities.
