Shah College of Engineering and Technology is a self-financed institute established on 15th September, 1997 coinciding with Engineer’s Day, and commenced academic activities with two disciplines, namely Computer Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The Institution is approved by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi and Government of Gujarat, and was affiliated to Saurashtra University, Rajkot (Gujarat) and then to Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad. After three years, the college will be the part of C. U. Shah University, initiated by the Vardhman Bharti Trust (VBT), and duly approved as private University by the Government of Gujarat on 22nd April 2013.
