1.Professor
As Associate Professor in the subject concerned for three years in the recognised medical college or institute.
After MD /MS 14 years teaching experience from recognised medical college or institute.
Minimum of four research publications as a first/ second author in Index/ national journals out of which 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor.
2. Associate Professor
As Assistant Professor in the concerned subject for four years in a recognised medical college or institute.
After MD/MS/MDS 6 years teaching experience from recognised medical colllege/institute.
Minimum of two Research publications as a first/ second author in Index/ national journals during the tenure of the Assistant Professor.
3. Assistant Professor
Recognised postgraduate MD/ MS/ MDS qualification in the subject.
Three years post PG teaching experience from recognised medical college or institute.
4. Lecturer
Requisite recognised postgraduate qualification in the subject.
Three years experience as Resident/Demonstrator from recognised medical college or institute.
Salary and Increment:
For Professors: 37400-67000 plus grade pay
For Associate Professors: 37400-67000 plus grade pay
For Assistant Professors: 15600-39100 plus grade pay
For lecturer: 15600-39100 plus grade pay
