Sanjib Sahu, a leading luminary of the international scientific community to set up SPINTRONIC TECHNOLOGY AND ADVANCE RESEARCH (STAR), a degree Engineering College affiliated to BPUT, Rourkela & approval by AICTE, New Delhi in the heart of Bhubaneswar, Orissa’s lush green & ever booming capital city in the year 2009 with intake capacity of 240 students in four disciplines namely Electronic & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering. In its onward journey for promotion of quality technical educaiton in a disciplined environment, it has been strengthened with Civil Engineering in the year 2010 with 60 intake capacity.
