The Sivakasi Naicker Varthaga Sangam decided to start an English medium school at Sivakasi to impart English education to the children hailing from villages. So the SNM Nursery and Primary school was started in the year 1995 in the Kammavar Kalyana Mandapam complex. When the school required a spacious site at its growth into SNM Matriculation School in the year 2000, the committee purchased 4.00 acres of land at the excellent location nearby Paraipatti Village.
