About School: This Lokanath Mohavidyalaya, Patkura was established on the 5th February 1976, the auspicious day of Sripanchami. It is a premier college completing 38 years in the district of Kendrapara, Odisha. It is located at about a distance of 65 kms towards the East of Cuttack, about 20 kms to the south of Kendrapara district headquarters and about 35 kms to the South-East of Paradip sea-port. Touching to its campus, there is Golakh Bihari Temple, just at a few distance, there is Suka Parikhit Ashram which has recently been enlisted as a tourists spot by the state Govt, the other focus of attention is Mahapurus Achutananda Monastery whose religious scriptures sunya sanghita, Haribansa, Sri Gurubhakti Gita, Anakar Sanghita, Gopala Ogala, Kaibarta Gita & others have enriched the history of Odia literature.
