About Institution:  Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST), is a multi-campus university, named after great patriotic leader Jenab Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah popularly known as Sher-e-Kashmir. It was established in the year 1982 through an Act of the J&K Assembly, with its headquarter at Shalimar, Srinagar. In the year1998-99, the University was renamed as Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-Kashmir) and its territorial jurisdiction redefined to Kashmir and Ladakh regions.

Qualification and Experience: 

1. Senior Research Fellow: M.Sc. in Agriculture/ Horticulture with at least 60% marks and NET qualified.
2. Junior Research Fellow: M.Sc. in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Sericulture with at least 60% marks.
3. Filed Assistant:  12th Pass with one year experience in Kalazeera Cultivation.

Salary:  

• Senior Research Fellow -  Rs 35000/ + 8% HRA/month 
• Junior Research Fellow - Rs 31000/ + 8% HRA/month for 1 st and 2nd year and Rs. 35000/- + 8% HRA for 3 rd year
• Filed Assistant -Consolidated Rs 15000/= per month.
