College Profile: Five Junior Research Fellows, Panjab University, Chandigarh, for the project “Transforming
India's Green Revolution by Research and Empowerment for Sustainable Food Supplies (TIGR2ESS)”. This is a Global Challenges Research Fund Project of UK Research Councils, which is a multi-institution research collaboration led by the University of Cambridge (https://tigr2ess.globalfood.cam.ac.uk/). The focus of the work of the positions will be on ‘Impacting Wellbeing in Rural and Urban Communities: Education, Empowerment and Entrepreneurship leading to improved Human Nutrition, Health and Wellbeing’ (Flagship Programme 6 of the project of which more details can be viewed at the web-link given above). The work is primarily field based and would require extensive travelling, especially in Punjab. The applicant should have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and a good working knowledge of Punjabi.
