College Profile: MCKV Institute of Engineering(MCKVIE) is an engineering college founded in 1999, affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology. It ranks as one of the top engineering colleges in West Bengal[1] and graded AA+ by Careers 360 (magazine)[2] in 2015.[3] The institute offers bachelor's and master's degrees in various engineering streams as well as a master's degree in computer applications. Students are admitted through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination WBJEE, Joint Entrance Examination and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.It has been selected for a TEQIP grant by the World Bank[4] and also accredited by National Board of Accreditation.[5][6][7] Also accredited by NAAC 'A' grade. Qualifications:(Preference)
Principal:

• A Ph.D. or equivalent in a concerned engineering discipline from a reputed institution (preferably IIT/ IISc.) preceded by a UG / PG degree in the relevant discipline (CSE/IT/EE/ECE/ME/AUE) in First Class (or equivalent) with consistently good academic record.
• Teaching/ ResearchyIndustrial experience (min 10 years) in the relevant discipline as an Associate Professor for three years.
• Post Ph.D. research experience along with guiding at least two successful Ph.D. candidates as their Supervisor.
• Age within 50-55 years. Relaxation of age may be considered on sutability.

Registrar:

1. Post Graduate (preferably Economics/ Commerce/ Management/ Engineering)
2. Conversant with UGC NAAC NBA AICTE I MAKAUT /Autonomy/QS Ranking/ABET (Rules and Functioning).
3. Minimum 10 years of experience in Administration as a Registrar or Deputy Registrar in any Autonomous College or University.
4. Familiarity with administrative practices, financial matters, human resource management, statutory functions and academic activitiesof an autonomous educational Institute.
5. Age should not exceed 50 years. Relaxation of age may be considered on suitability

Faculty & Allied Services:

• Faculty & Technical Lab Assistant for CSE/ECE/IT/EE/ME/AUE
• Vigilance Officer/CCTV Supervisor for campus premises
