About College: Keshav Memorial Educational Society was established in 1940 by PanditVinayakRaoVidyalankar in memory of his father Sri Justice Keshav Rao Koratkar, who was a Judge of the then Hyderabad High Court, as part of the freedom movement. The present grounds of Keshav Memorial are witness to the struggle for Independence. This is the place where our National Flag was hoisted on 15th August, 1947.  At that point of time Hyderabad State was under Nizam Rule,who was against being part of the Indian Union.
