Name of the Institution: Royal Higher Education Society, Thane
About Institution: The society was founded on 28th December,1966 by Asgar E. Lakdawala, a poor S.S.C student at that time. He gathered together, a very small group of young boys, each of whom hailing from a poor family and had a spirit of service, sacrifice, friendship & understanding. The sole mission of a group was Educational upliftment of poor & needy students of Bohra Community; since 1966, year after year, more and more benefactors from Bohra Community realised the importance of the mission set by the founder & today, there are about 600 life members & patron members who are patronising the mission of the society. Basically the society aims at the education of the Bohra & non-Bohra Muslim community & extends its facilities to other communities.
