Salary:
- Adjunct Faculty based in Shillong will be paid an honorarium of ` 1,500/- (Rupees One thousand five hundred) only per hour of class or equivalent subject to a maximum of 5,000/- (Rupees Five thousand) only per day for the days he/she takes part in academic activities of the Institute, subject to a ceiling of ` 1,20,000/- (Rupees One lakh twenty thousand) only per month.
- Adjunct Faculty from outside Shillong will be paid travel assistance from her/his place of stay and back and NIT Meghalaya will also arrange for her/his accommodation, maximum 6 times per academic year.
- An honorarium of ` 5,000/- (Rupees Five thousand) only per day will be paid for the days she/he takes part in academic activities of the Institute, excluding the days of travel, subject to a ceiling of ` 1,20,000/- (Rupees One lakh twenty thousand) only per month.
