A Brief on UGC NET Exam

The NET or National Eligibility Test regulated by the University Grants Commission, UGC in India is a national level exam that enables the Post Graduate candidates to succeed the university level of teaching professions in India. It also seeks admissions in the Ph.D. degree programs. NET ensures that the candidate qualifies in the minimum standards of the profession of instruction and research. This test conducted in the field of Humanities, Forensic Science, Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Electronic Science.

UGC is a legal body, set up by Union government of India in the year 1956. This organization is responsible for coordinating, determining, and maintaining of standards of the university education. It also provides recognition to the universities of India and also distributes the funds required by them.

The
CBSE Board or the Central Board of Secondary Education regulates the NET or National Eligibility Test on the part of the UGC or University Grants Commission. The NET exam for the year 2017 is scheduled for the month of June and December. The official notifications are going to be releasing in the month of March and September.  Once the candidates pass UGC NET exam, he/she is eligible for the posts of Lecturer or Assistant Professor or even can pursue JRF in various universities.

CBSE - UGC NET Exam- Paper Pattern and Syllabus

The CBSE - UGC NET Examination will be conducted in three sessions or papers with all of the three having objective types questions. The primary purpose of the Paper 1 is to check the teaching abilities, reasoning ability, divergent thinking, comprehension, and general awareness along with research capabilities of the candidates. The Paper 2 and Paper 3 consists of the separate syllabus in each of the streams.

CBSE - UGC NET is one among the most prominent and one of the toughest examinations in India. It is not an easy work to qualify in this exam for the first attempt, without making a proper study preparation and plans.       Get aware of the Exam Syllabus and Exam Pattern

Before you start the exam preparation, it is more important that you make a good understanding over the syllabus of Exam. Make sure you go through and make a thorough preparation for each of the topics of the Syllabus.

      Prioritize the subjects

The exam consists of three papers, out of which two Papers are on your choice, whereas the other Paper will be composed of aptitude and general awareness.
