About College: The Government of India, under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act 2014, has agreed to establish a Petroleum University of national importance in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The State Government of Andhra Pradesh has allotted land measuring 150 acres at Anthakapalli Village, Visakhapatnam for the permanent campus of Indian Institute of Petroleum & Energy (IIPE). Till such time as the IIPE sets up its own campus, the institute will operate from its temporary campus at Andhra University College of Engineering (A), Visakhapatnam, effective academic session 2016-2017, in line with the MoU between Andhra University and IIPE for sharing infrastructure / resources. Further, other facilities such as Laboratories, workshops, e-library, wi-fi etc will be made available for the students of IIPE by Andhra University.

Age: Under 35 years (preferable)
Experience: 2 years Teaching / Research experience in reputed institution/ National Laboratories
Minimum 3 international journal publications in SCI/SCIE journals with Impact Factor
Rules can be relaxed for exceptional candidates. Candidates from industries with proven track records may also be considered
Salary: Emoluments consist of a consolidated pay of Rs.65,000/-per month, However in case of deserving candidates negotiable.
Contractual Faculty/ Visiting Faculty
Qualification: PhD with minimum 10 years Teaching / Research experience in Chemical Engineering / Petroleum Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Maths/ Polymer Science/ Material Science/ English/ Biology/ Geology/ Geophysics/ Computer Science
Age: Upto 69 yrs will be considered for contractual faculty
Exp: Minimum 10 years Teaching/ Research experience in reputed institutions
Good international journal publication record

Candidates from industries with proven track records may also be considered
Contracts are renewable every 2 years
Salary: Emoluments in case of retired faculty members are one lakh rupees per month. Depending on the eligibility and experience, designation and remuneration will be fixed.
