The Architecture College campus is a part of the sprawling IES Education City at Chittilappilly, which also includes the IES College of Engineering and the IES Public School. The college is governed by a Board of Directors who brings to the table more than 40 years of experience in running educational institutions abroad. College was started in the year 2012 as a stand-alone institution as per the approval by the Council of Architecture. The course is recognized by the Government of Kerala and is affiliated to the Calicut University. It is headed by the former Director of Technical Education, Kerala (Ar.) Prof.K.K George.
